Sorry I can't help you. **Q: my caller id time/date is showing 00:00 and 00/00 after the power went out** A: don't have phone or manual any more, but some phones get the time/date from the connection to the phone line and need to receive a call for phone to get time data back,some you have to reset manually; try having someone call and see if time gets retrieved; if not maybe a factory reset will help but if you don't have manual or know how to do that, try googling that question/ problem. You'd be surprised at how well google can find answers to problem - especially leading you to forums such as a Uniden user forum Also see if caller id still works to show number calling you; if not maybe a bigger problem. **Q: Will this item work by it self or do i need a base phone to go with it?** A: Hi I made an error in saying this would work by itself. I have a slightly different model WXI3077 DECT 6.0 and it does work independantly.. The batteries wear out after a couple of years and the charging bases have an issue with the connection if dirty. HOWEVER If you have any issue with a product and need any assistance YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK! These guys are about the worst customer service company I have ever dealt with. So, If you are fortunate enough to get a phone with no issues you are fine. If you have a problem? You are on your own. Just throw it away and get another one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great phone *by Y***A on September 7, 2013* I love the phone, and can take it outside when the kids are in the pool without having to worry about it getting wet. It works great, and for some reason, Uniden phones are the only brand that work in my house. I had my last Unidens for almost 10 years, so I'm hoping this one will be just as good. I like that you can put the names in the phone book on one phone and they are then on all your compatible phones without having to do anything else. The only down side to these phones is there is no answering machine on either of the models that I bought (two of this model and one with the yellow base), and the ringer on the phones could stand to be a bit louder. Even when turned up to the loudest setting, I have a problem hearing it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality, very rugged *by M***C on August 25, 2013* This phone is a very good rugged phone, perfect for home or shop. Very good range, very good voice quality and very good battery life. I would have given this a perfect 5 star rating if the main base, the one that plugs into the phone jack, had the capability to hang on wall jack, but it does not. This means you need to place the base on a table or shelf and run a phone cord to the jack. Either way it still needs power nearby but that is true of any cordless base, either transmitting or charging unit.
