It's plastic and not metal. I don't think I would buy if I had children who would be using it. The top piece doesn't stay lined up with the bottom one consistently. I have to keep readjusting it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to Use *by M***T on Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2020* Hello, The product is great. It holds a lot soap, very nice and sturdy plastic. The customer service is great. I got quick and friendly responses. Enjoy the product!!!
