I have a narrow foot and often have to buy shoes 1/2 a size too small as a result. With these I can get the correct length, and a sensible heal height for dancing. The strap is deigned so it is completely adjustable very clever. The shoe is reasonable quality soft leather and manmade lining and I expect to buy another pair in the near future. Bit of a gamble but glad I did.
