I've not seen this in dumbbells before (not my area of expertise as you might have guessed), but I think it's a brilliant idea, making them so much more comfortable to hold and use than regular ones, reducing the chance of blisters significantly, as well as allowing you to do exercises for longer because your hands won't hurt as much.I didn't double check the weight. I'll take their word for it that they are indeed 3kg, and leave it at that.
