I ignored the reviews about the item arriving broken, as this was the exact same item I was trying to replace. It actually did not arrive broken, but after screwing it into the faucet appropriately, upon very first use it became detached, fell, and shattered. Without thinking and to avoid injury, I threw the pieces away (and some went down the drain), so now I don't actually have the item to return. I did take a photo, but I can't even figure out how to talk to a real person about this at Amazon, so I guess I'm out $40.
