Once completed, the model measures 15 cm in length and represents a vehicle capable of reaching speeds over 50 km/h, making it a perfect blend of fun and education. ## Description The Sd.Kfz. 7 - 8 tonne medium tracked infantry vehicle - was one of the best known tractors used by the German Army in the Second World War. This half-track was primarily used as an artillery tractor for heavy guns. Another variant was the Sd.Kfz. 7/2 with a mount for a 3,7 cm AA gun 36. For transporting munitions an Sd.Ah 52 was also used. An armoured drivers cab provided better protection for the crew. Ever since the appearance of the Sdkfz 7 Revell have been utilizing the tracked base for various gun platforms. I read they are bringing out the Sdkfz 7/2 with the 88mm flak gun on the back with stabilizers. It will be interesting to see how far Revell go with this tracked series. Maybe even the V2 control half track??!!The early quad flak half track is already retired as is the 88mm flak gun so I'd get them if you can before they are discontinued.
