Call me crazy but I have been enjoying the same CD every morning when going to work, like charging my batteries; and the same story when driving back home, as re-charging my batteries again. The percussion is amazing, listening to the guitar is just a masterpiece in your ears, rhythm, strength, tenderness, .... it is amazing how many different and opposite emotions their music can convey. As expected from the sons and nephews of Manitas de Plata. If you like Flamenco or Spanish Guitar, you should love it. They know the musical genre, they are virtuosi on the guitar, and the sound is great. Unfortunately, I have to close my eyes to see Carmen Amaya dancing, but she would have recognized their music straight away and danced her heart out to it (as she always did). Recommended with enthusiasm! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gipsy Kings ROCK *by T***0 on August 7, 2012* The Gipsy Kings have made the greatest album I own....It something I discovered many years ago at a concert and I have always been impressed with the combonation of jazzy up tempo latino rhythm with flamenco style. The style is called Rumba Catalana. ( This band is compiled of two families from the south of France ) Music is very strong with the aucoustic guitar. Its pure delight energy music. All the best songs are on this album and for a mere $11 you won't be dissapointed at all. I think I have used this soundtrack for more occassions than any other music genre b/c its so enjoyable and perfect to dance to, not just weddings and birthdays.
