It really detangles curly hair well. However, you have to be patient to not get the breakage you typically do with a normal brush. If one of the comb heads gets stuck, gently detangle that area with your fingers. I like to detangle with the brush vertically first, then go through horizontally.The edge brush is complete trash. Is it so hard, like a Brillo pad or scouring brush. It will probably pull out your edges and baby hairs. Haven’t used it ad I don’t plan to.
