It worked when taking walks but not when working in one area for longer than 5-10 minutes. You won't get bit where they are placed but everywhere else. It's great for casual use when there are so many mosquitoes that want to greet you as soon as you leave the front door. It will take them longer to discover your presence. The best protection is clothes and deet formulas on all exposed areas..when working outside for longer than 5 minutes when the bugs are very active.
