Review: Favorite Mug! - Cute little mug, I ordered this one as a replacement for my last one that died after a trip through the dishwasher. This one holds a spot in my heart within my collection of mugs, mainly because of how much I love the simplicity and execution of the design. It's very reminiscent of the Legend of Zelda heart, though I suppose it could apply to any pixel heart design in gaming. Good mug, works like you'd expect it to. The color-change dye is rather responsive and resilient, so long as you keep it out of the dishwasher! Very important that doesn't happen, otherwise the dye gets overwhelmed and loses its color-change capability. Still, I won't fault this mug for that flaw since it was entirely my fault lol. Great gift, and great for coffee/tea/cocoa/whatever else. I sometimes like to use mugs for holding milk while I eat cookies. Good stuff.

I got this mug as a gift for my boyfriend. The red shown is definitely not as bright as in real life. It's a darker red, which I actually prefer more. It is a fun gift, but don't really expect much. It takes very hot water to get the color to change and it cools down and goes away very fast. So unless you drink your coffee pipping hot and finish it within 10 minutes be aware your heart will die. I angrily put it in the dishwasher once and the heart is already ruined. It's peeling off and it barely changes color anymore. So make sure you never wash this.
