Say on carpet? How wide is it with the bends needed for standing?** A: I only use it as a headboard for a king size bed supported against a wall. It is not a flimsy piece but solid wood. I think with the least amount of bends you could cover about 70 to 72 inches of space and be sturdy. A larger angle obviously would make it even sturdier but cover less area. **Q: is this screen opaque or can you see through it?** A: It is not opaque, you can see through it if you're trying to. You definitely MUST not go with the “Used -very good” purchase option if offered. I did that and it arrived compl destroyed. The amazing thing is that one was just delivered yesterday, I of course set it up for return for credit to original payment form and immediately reordered a NEW one. AMAZON picked up the first one that was truly destroyed (even had a red sticker on the outside stating “package and item damaged”, AND they delivered the new one TODAY at the same time!! So in less than 24 hours I had a new replacement and a no charge, picked up return! Who does this anymore these days (rhetorical question)? I couldn’t be happier with the refund and return process or the delivery speed of the replacement item that is already set up where I wanted it.
