Its not all wood, its glued to an orange rubber surround which doesnt seem to tarnish or turn dark. Great case. Review: Hard to take off/put on, or to use power/volume buttons. Pretty bulky too. - Rather bulky. Hard to push the power/volume buttons, doesn't fit with my Bose speaker adapter. Also very difficult to take off and put back on. I wouldn't recommend this if you prefer a thinner, more subtle case. ### ⭐⭐⭐ nice, mostly rubber, case that's quite slippery *by T***L on December 19, 2015* This is a nice-enough rubber case, but doesn't really satisfy my desire for a case that has at least a wood feel to it, even if it's not made primarily of wood. While I was not expecting it to have much wood (bamboo) in or on the case, it's really just a tiny sliver glued onto a rubber case.
