The thick walls ensure a rugged shatter resistant unit. The top section can be lifted off using the large ribbed knob Research, industrial and healthcare professionals rely on SP Scienceware for their sample handling needs. Sold worldwide, Bel-Art and H-B Instrument brand laboratory supplies include over 5,000 items from safety wash bottles to fume hoods, thermometers, racks, desiccators, hydrometers, ice buckets, scoops and spoons. Custom calibration services, plastic molding, specialty coatings and wire manufacturing are also available. Review: I'd probably be better off with a vacuum type dessicator - Difficult to develop and maintain an airtight seal. Had to apply large amounts of vaseline, still no luck. I'd probably be better off with a vacuum type dessicator. A tupperware container would serve the same purpose as this.

Difficult to develop and maintain an airtight seal. Had to apply large amounts of vaseline, still no luck. I'd probably be better off with a vacuum type dessicator. A tupperware container would serve the same purpose as this.
