These days that alone is impressive. With my limited experience I would categorize the adze I received as excellent, to nearly perfect. My only criticisms are it could have been sharper, and I would like the handle to be a bit thicker in the grip, it couldn't be much thicker given the slip fit of the head though. The head fits very well, there has been no movement after a fair bit of use. If anything, it gets tighter through use. My next adze will be a bit straighter, and the edge will have a shallower curve. These are not criticisms of this adze, but I think another as described would be nice. If this maker has such an adze, I'll be getting one from him over any other I've seen on Amazon.
