It all works very well. Put it on in the evening and then put him in footie pjs to allow him to absorb it (and keep him from being a slippery fish).Why we love it:- .5% strength hydrocortisone (effective with lowest risk)- Ointment base. Forget those lotions and creams. Ointments are *far* more effective at retaining moisture. If eczema is bad enough to require steroids then you should really be using something more than a cream or lotion anyway.- Easily blend this product with other ointments like aquaphor or vaseline. We use aquaphor and it can go right on top or adjacent to trouble areas. On the other hand, the lotion base hydrocortisone gets mixed in weird and slides everywhere.- Quality packaging. Comes in stiff metal tube that you puncture.
