The contact person was courteous and eager to please. The new bag was shipped to me at an expedited rate and was shipped for free. I have zero complaints about the customer service I received.The replacement bag is a bit different in color and texture than the first one I received. It just doesn't feel or look as nice as the first one. Perhaps due to variations in the material. But, the customer service was great.It was delivered to me on 7.31.17.It broke on 9.8.17.I have lifted it by the handle maybe 3 times and yesterday when I lifted it, the handle tore loose of the bag. Not the arm strap, the handle.I am very, very disappointed.The delivery was on time. Has plenty of room to hold books for several classes, and a recorder, tapes, etc. Easy access to everything in it. So far no complaints and it has been in use since the beginning of the school year for 2016-2017. Not for myself, but as a gift for my son, and he really likes it. It did have a bit of an odor to start, you don't want to lay anything like clothing, such as a coat, on or under it. The clothing will absorb the smell. I think that it is what it was oiled with, not just a leather smell. As far as using it, my son said that the smell wore off fairly quickly and it wasn't that bad. The odor could be counteracted with leather cleaner or a good wiping down, my son just didn't mind it. The bag came on time and was packaged well. I have had the bag for about three weeks now and one of the buttons has already come off. I was thinking about taking it to a shoe repair shop to see if they could fix it, but I think I will try the seller first to see what they can do.
