Chipotle Pepper Gouda has a smooth buttery flavor with chipotle peppers in adobe sauce. Pasteurized Fresh cow’s milk Vegetable rennet True European Culture We add no coloring, artificial flavors or preservatives No GMO Rennet (our milk contains no growth hormones, antibiotics or rBGH.) Aging Rooms: aged 60 days and/or longer precise temperature aging rooms moved and turned daily for correct breathing and aging. The longer the aging period, the stronger the flavor. Gouda Cheese can be grated, sliced, cubed or melted. Great in your next Fondue. Try it on cheese trays, hot and cold salads, casseroles, sandwiches and as a dessert cheese that complements fruit as well as your favorite wine.

I saw this cheese on a Food Network show. I love cheese and I love chipolte and knew I had to try it. I searched the internet, and found Eichens. When Amazon was listed as a seller, I immediatly ordered the 8oz wedge. Even though the shipping charge was way more than the product ( it was shipped in an insulated package with a reusable freezer pack), it was worth the money. The cheeze is excellent with great Gouda flavor. The blending of the chipolte added to the just the right amount of spice without overpowering the taste of the cheeze. It obviously didn't last very long, and I will definitely order this item again. Plus, I've already used the freezer pack on a camping trip. What's not to like.
