Review: Stable, predictable, and attractive dispenser. Works great for years! - I purchased this soap dispenser in white in 2021, And we have used it daily since then. It is still working great! It is sturdy, and it has a large capacity. You can push the pump down just a little if you don't want a full squirt of liquid soap. I love the design, and I just came back here to buy another for a different bathroom. These are expensive, but they look good and mine has functioned perfectly for years!
Review: Kudos on design - Perusing the search results, I saw the product photo for this dispenser and was like “yes. that’s what I’m looking for.” and in fact, it was. The ratio of height to base width is spot on to prevent it from wobbling over when you try to depress the squirt part. The wide flat top goes further to prevent the dispenser falling over, since you can push down flat handed rather than get it just right on narrow nozzles like regular liquid soap dispensers. I’ve used this for 2-3 months now and have no complaints. I have other Joseph Joseph products and felt equally pleased with their quality and functional design.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does the steel rust?**
A: Have only used for a month

**Q: Can you lock the pump in a closed position, e.g. if you wanted to pack it for travel?**
A: I wouldn’t recommend it. It broke down after first filled up.

**Q: is the soap bottle made of glass or plastic?**
A: Plastic. The problem with these is it’s not intuitively obvious where the soap spout is. So you press down expecting it from one place and get it from another. The previous incarnation didn’t have this problem but this design requires far less plastic.

**Q: How do you open this to refill**
A: the pump top and the stem are connected as one piece while the bottom is the soap container. grab the top and the stem, and twist to open.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not bad; better than most
*by A***R on June 20, 2025*

These work better than most. Nice appearance, so far good quality working. Would be a bit better than some sort of way to be able to see how much is left to know when to refill.
