Federal Pacific and Pioneer were essentially the same breaker line with two names for different markets. However these are specifically listed replacements for Federal Pacific only and not Federal Pioneer so they could get flagged if you need to pass some kind of inspection or approval. **Q: What’s the recommended torque setting for tightening the screws for the wires in this breaker?** A: Torque is 30 in/lb. **Q: Will this breaker work in the FP L 124-40 panel?** A: Thank you for this inquiry! I did a little research and to answer your question, YES that UBIF260N should work inside that FR L 124-40 panel. That panel number looks to be an older-style Federal Pacific panel part number. These UBIFs are, currently, the NEWEST REPLACEMENTS for the Type NA, which should fit inside that panel as well. As you can well imagine, each panel is different, but I think it is safe to say that if you purchase that UBIF from Amazon, it should work just fine for you.
