A: No you have to buy a light kit

**Q: What's the width of the saucer?**
A: 9 inch

**Q: Im thinking of getting this as a gift for my dad. Does it come with glue and other necessary supplies or will I need to purchase them separately?**
A: It does not come with glue or paint.  You dont really need glue as it does snap together pretty well. 

I bought this as the first model for my 11 year old and he was able to put it together with no glue.  

We have not put decals on yet.

A great model of the legendary USS Enterprise refit from the Star Trek movies. The decals are ok but don't fit that well on some parts and the instructions on where to locate them are a little off (best to use reference photos)
