I have had 3 surgeries for basil cell carcinoma on my face and my with my last surgery I had the silicone gel sheeting recommended for my scarring. I wore my first strip for a full 24 hours with my first use, I was comfortable wearing it out in public because they are not intrusive at all. I was blown away when I removed the very first one! My last incision line runs directly down by my nose to just beside my mouth so I didn't want it to come lose with eating and drinking.
