## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can these be mounted permanently outside, or do they need protection from UV and/or rain?**
A: My guess is that mounting outside is fine, but I would put it out of the constant sun so the UV won't degrade the rubber rollers.

**Q: How big is the inside of the clamps?**
A: It will easily clamp onto a modern "2x4".

**Q: How far apart are the clamps?**
A: They are 13 1/2" center to center.

**Q: Is the wringers already assembled?**
A: Pretty much.   I can't remember if I had to screw in the bolts used to clamp it to something.  the wringers were aligned and all.   Just watch out for the tension.   Don't start out too tight.  You can always get tighter to get more water.   Zippers and button flies from Jeans can really eat the rubber on the rollers so be careful.  Make two passes ideally....at least.
