They worked great with my Baofeng and military PTT. They amplified surrounding sounds and shut out flashbangs and loud noises. Are they comparable to $600 Peltors, no. Are they an amazing value and fully functional, yes! Now my main gripe with this is how it EATS batteries.I ran through 6 of the Amazon 2400 mh rechargeable(fully charged of course.) batteries during a 3 day Lionclaws event while Ztactical boasts 270 hours of life.Assuming the batteries where not the issue,you need plenty on hand for big events.Four for a 9 hour game in my experience.I wore these under a ACH and a Airframe helmet,I would suggest getting arc rail attachments if you plan on using a facemesh. The helmet or headband may press the plastic sliders into your head and it will be painful,requiring you to move the sliders out of the way of the helmet padding.Edit: you need to use non rechargeable 1.5v batteries only for long battery life.
