We use it as a sewer line for our RV. **Q: Can this be used for defroster/ac ductwork?** A: I suppose it could be if the right diameter is purchased. **Q: Does this hose support its own weight and retain its shape? i.e. is it closer to a vacuum cleaner hose or a stiff flexible straw?** A: Yes retain its shape and like a vacuum cleaner hose and it is flexible ! **Q: Where do you get the fittings for this hose ??** A: I used 2 inch abs fittings. Just use 2 #8 screws per connection. The fit is a little tight, so you may need to cut a small notch in the end of the hose to get it to fit.
