Any thoughts of wisdom?** A: The humidity stat setting is when it will turn off not what it will necessarily achieve. I like that it works without tying into furnace electrical system. Uses air pressure to turn on solenoid valve that lets water in. I installed humidifier and humidistat on return air so there is no possibility of water leakage on furnace controller. Installed in about 8 hours over two days, but I took my time. ### ⭐ Did not make it through the season *by D***E on March 31, 2024* Worked great for the first couple months but by the end of the season humidity levels in the home began to drop. Still some water on the filter but I suspect the valve isn't opening properly and even with the humidity turned up to max the unit doesn't seem to be making a difference. Disappointed because the install took some time. Thinking about buying one of the newer units with a digital control next year and hoping they've worked out whatever issue I've run into.
