I have dark blond hair and I ordered the dark blond and it's a perfect match. I like the applicator as well I was worried it would be messy/drippy. I love it for my "side burn" area which shows the grey/white the fatest. Perfect for in-between hair visits. A little goes a long way. I applied to my dry hair-let the cover up dry and then blow dried it out. I've used it 3 times, seems like there is still quite a few applications left. Can't complain for the price.
