Although I have seen bags that say they are for willow 1&2 generations but I have 3 and haven’t seen a different size to go with each flange. **Q: Will the pump work without the bag attached - I just bought a series 1 because I could not afford 500.00?** A: If you have the reusable flange than yes it will work without the bags but I have the series 3 so I don’t know about the series 1 and I don’t know if They have a reusable flange that could be purchased instead of bags. As long as you have the correct pieces you don’t have to use the bags for series 3. But you’ll have to check with the one you have. Hope this helps. **Q: If I have a low supply can I put the bags in the fridge in between sessions and use the same bag for the next pumping session ?** A: No, because you would be mixing the milk at different temperatures. This is one of the only real drawbacks for using the willow pumping bags. For a low supply, I would recommend their reusable storage containers. That way you could pump a little, pour it into a bag or container, and refrigerate it and then on your next pumping session do the same.
