My old 3blade prop ventilated if I wasn't careful even on normal turns- I can now turn sharp with little problem and even if I downturn too sharp and it starts to ventilate it seems to catch water again before I can back off the throttle. Noticeable difference in the metal-I wondered if "forced casting" was just marketing spin but wen I hit my old prop w my finger I get a thud. Went I flick this one it rings like a bell. I would definitely recommend! Besides being 1/5 of the cost of stainless you aren't putting your lower unit at risk. I did loose about 1mph top end but the take off and no ventilation is definitely worth 1mph especially if you are using it for water sports. I get on plane much quicker and it didn't affect my top speed or fuel economy. It was really easy to install and everything is included with the hub kit. My only complaint so far is that one trailing edge on one of the blades was very rough. It wasn't bad enough to worry with sending it back.
