With some artists, when you've seen one picture, you've seen them all. But every picture by this artist is unique, covering a wide range of styles and content relating to paradise. Her images are so dreamlike and imaginative! The pictures transport you to otherworldly realms that are peaceful, beautiful, and that provide the perfect canvas to allow your imagination to soar.The pictures are one-sided and are perforated for easy removal. The paper is high quality and has minimal tooth. This makes it perfect for colored pencil so you don't have to worry about covering the speckles caused by the tooth of rougher paper. The pages are also thick enough so that coloring with markers and gel pens will work well too (although, of course, it would be wise to remove the page first in case there is any bleed-through), but I don't recommend watercolor. The pages are an odd size, though: a little under ten inches square. So scanning the colored picture to post online is a bit of a challenge. However, the pictures all have borders and wide enough margins so that they will just about fit on a standard scanner bed with careful positioning.The little objects hidden within the picture are fun to find and identify. There is a guide in the back of the book to show the location and identity of the objects. The pictures are very detailed, so I could only recommend the book for experienced colorists. But it you are one, then run - don't walk - to buy this coloring book! You'll be glad you did! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another fantastic book in the series! *by C***1 on August 6, 2020* OMG! My book arrived about 10 minutes ago! I couldn't wait to crack it open. I have all the books in the series,so far, and God willing, will collect them as they each new one comes out!I honestly think that PARADISE is my favorite in the collection (I probably say that each time a new comes out) so far. Fabienne Attanasio is an incredible artist with an incredible imagination. Whe you combine those two gifts........these books are the result. There is another artist who has been dping this style of art for a while, but in my opinion, these books are so much better. Of course, I absolutely love that other artist as well.I wont post any pictures until I complete coloring one because there have been plenty posted of just the line art. Ill try to post a completed picture soon.Now about these books in this collection, in general. All of the art is printed single sided in bright white perforated paper. In nuzt about every book I purchase, I copy the art to colored pencil paper. But these books are very odd sized and I color dire try in the books. I would say that the paper is a little better (heavier) than the paper in creative haven books. It doesn't have a lot of tooth, but its "adequate ".I hope you enjoy this series as much h as I do.
