Good feel, great size for mountain trout but strong enough for larger fish as well. Comes with a nice carrying tube, could be a little smaller, but tube is probably used to fit several size rods. I have fished with this several times and have been very please. I'm using a 4lb line and very light panther martin spinners (1/16oz). The light action rod is great at sending the lure a long distance. I'm casting much further than with my stiffer rod and the same light weight lure. I'm glad I went with the light action.This is the most expensive rod I own, but I would purchase again and definitely recommend to a friend. I wish Fenwick still made their products in the USA, but you can say that about most things now days. It is still a very well built rod. The colors are classic, and and the gold fiber really pops in the sun.This is not some cheap Walmart rod. Clearly the solid rod performance matters most.FYI: The rod is versatile for multiple applications and fish speciesand additionally, Fenwick includes a quality Travel Rod Case! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So far so good *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2016* After 4 trips, I would say this rod delivers on everything it promises.Quality rod, once assembled, I don't notice any difference from my other rods.I bought this for my finesse baits and I feel everything. I've brought in bass up to 3 pounds without any problems at all. Even able to flip them out of the water over reeds with confidence. I love the 7 feet on this rod. I'm able to cast over taller reeds from the bank when needed.Rod is a med light fast so it took me a few times to adjust to how much I needed to twitch to give my baits action. A little goes a long wayMy only concern was the rod pieces banging into each other while in the case.
