They're great if you have wide hips and are very comfortable as dining chairs. I would not suggest them as desk chairs because after about 45 minutes the iron bar at the seat does dig into the back of my legs. But, these don't hurt my back (I have lower back issues) and they're comfortable for a wide bottom. I love the look of these chairs too, they look exactly as pictured (I bought the black ones). They were easy to assemble and were the best value for the price. One of the chairs was somewhat challenging to put together because the wiring blocked the screw from fully going in the hole. But besides that, it went together easily and quickly.
