OMG!They cleverly also issued fabulous fancy furniture collection among which the Parlor was my favoritebut the boat was also absolutely dreamy!I remember when my child saw her at the store for the first time, she looked like deer in the headlightsand that day was the hardest to leave the store.. yes, it went instantly on the Christmas list along with the few furniture pieces and don't let me started on the enthusiasm and joy that they caused on the Christmas morning.The little doll was perfect to carry around, it became such a good friend to take everywhere for comfort and fun that we ended up getting a second one because of the millage it had.It is just gorgeous and it looks JUST LIKE THE BIG DOLL.. comes of course with the mini book thatis a must for the child as it truly excite them to read more.American Girl dolls inspire girls to read more, to learn more about culture, history and science. It comes with the price of USA made, but the quality of China made. I was very disappointed to see these where made in CHINA. These dolls are twice the price of Barbie dolls. Not really made any better and that book you get is sooo small. Its about the size of a wet nap. No kidding. That being said this was a great alternative to splurging a $100+ on the big doll and my daughter seemed just as happy.
