As long as the blade is not serrated. I use them on all of y knives and it works great. Be careful though they get wicked sharp **Q: can you sharpen a kabar with it.** A: If it is a straight edge Ka-Bar you should be able to. If it is a combination straight and serrated edge type you would only be able to sharpen the straight edge. **Q: Would it sharpens a meat &cheese deli type blades?** A: It's meant to sharpen Rada knives that are non-serrated. I have had customers use them on other brands of knives. I have three total after this purchase and I would buy more for friends and family. These sharpeners get these as sharp as my grandpa use to when he sharpened his knives by hand. I have never had another sharpener get the knives as sharp as he would. I wish I would have learned how to do it by hand from him, but these get me a close second on my own.
