He currently uses an ear candle, but I wanted to buy him something that would prevent the issue, so that he doesn't have to keep spending money on candles. First, I have to say that the photo was a bit misleading. Perhaps it's my fault for not reading through the information enough, but I took for granted that a DVD would come with this purchase, and I also thought that the spray bottle would contain a solution. To my surprise, it arrived with an empty spray bottle with a curled up piece of paper inside. I have to be honest - it didn't come across as very professional. At this point, I worry about giving this to my brother because it just doesn't look very legitimate.That being said, I watched the videos anyway. I realized that you are essentially purchasing the informational videos plus a free spray bottle that is said to be "pre-glued" for use. Something about the nozzle has been altered so that the flow is ideal for ear cleaning. However, it appears to be just an everyday average bottle from what I can tell.The videos are very simplistic. The holistic doctor discusses ear wax and the issues it causes and then demonstrates how to use the bottle in the shower. I won't be too detailed here as to not divulge too much information regarding the process, but it was very basic, and I don't see how this purchase could ever be worth nearly $30. Also, I have dealt with vertigo and water in the ear many, many times, and for me personally, this "system" would never work. The water going directly into my ear like that would cause me pain and dizziness for weeks. For my brother, it might be somewhat of an option, but I also worry about him doing this as well. I think I'll let him continue with his ear candles and irrigation solutions rather than gift this to him. It just concerns me.
