This blanket is very unique in that it keeps us warm all night, but doesn't get too hot. We live in a warm climate, so we were worried about this. However, we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the deep blue navy blanket, and the color is great. I highly recommend washing and drying the blanket at least one or two times before use (as with any other fabric), as there is a good amount of dust-like particles from production.
