That was no problem because I was actually controlling the TV with my cable remote. Fine as long as the TV was tuned to channel 3. But, when I moved the TV I accidentally touched the TV's channel control. So, it switched to the next programmed channel. To my horror, it would not go back to channel 3 because that was not programmed into the TV. Tried a universal remote. That managed to access the TV menu but could not move left or right to get to the channel programming.Had to buy this replacement remote. I was back to watching TV in minutes. Cool!My TV is Cobe TFTV1926.
