## Description

Review: Winter, faerstice - A good read for people who are in to the series recommend highly can't wait for the next one of the series a really enjoyable read but quick shaping up to be a enjoyable series must read the next one of the series
Review: A great read if you can ignore the typos, wrong words, and jumbled sentences - I received an advanced reader copy of “Winter, Faerstice: Charm Against a Sudden Stitch” (Witches’ War Book 1). The main character, Winter, is targeted by a power-hungry witch, who needs Winter’s life-blood and magic to avoid descending into madness. Winter joins a band of good witches, who are hoping to stop the bad witch from killing other young witches. But Winter’s goal isn’t so altruistic. She wants to avenge the death of her little sister. A lot goes wrong for Winter throughout this story, but a lot goes right, as well. I loved this book’s basic storyline. It was a fast-paced read with tension, drama, horror, humor, and suspense all rolled into one. I’ll give the author the benefit of the doubt on all the errors. He did provide a “newer” copy for me to read that was supposed to have caught most of the typos and such, but the book could do with a good read-through from a proofreader or basic copy editor. Even though the mistakes were prevalent, I don’t feel like they detracted from the basic story. Altogether, I’m glad I read it and am looking forward to more installments in this series. However, I implore the author to get a good proofreader for the next books.

### ⭐ Not good or bad just ok
*by R***A on August 18, 2020*

It is really hard to follow at times. I feel like the story is all over at times with No directions. I don't particularly like it when male writers try to write female characters. They don't relate to them because they can't do it comes off ridiculous. And to write about a teenager at that with a group of all ages women was so out of reality for how these girls would be. Winter seemed to forget her mother and her savagely murdered sister without even a call to see if her mother was ok after the flood? There is no way a 16 yr old will do that let alone a female. It's all just wrong from the beginning. Not worth time to read IMO.
