I used them for grounding on water pipes and outside ground rods where they've easily survived for several years without deteriorating or weathering. Real solid copper and brass hardware means they are permanent. The really good things about these straps are the sharp perforations on the hardware end that guarantee a solid electrical connection. The soft copper/brass needs just a little care when installing so that it doesn't get stripped.
