I have tried so many different commercial and homemade natural and aluminum free deodorants and have yet to find one that works all day with out re-applying or that works at all really. Halfway through the day I am embarrassingly ready for a shower!! Stink! UNTIL NOW!! Purely Great is it. I ordered the Men's Patchouli for myself and lavender for my teenage daughters. The both scents are not as strong as you would think they may be, especially the patchouli, so don't let that scare you away. That said, you can definitely smell both and they are very nice. I am sensitive to scents and fragrances and neither of these bother me at all. Best of all they work! They keep my armpit odor GONE all day and I have no worries that Purely Great has got me covered.Now, here's one thing you must know about this cream deodorant. It is formulated with natural ingredients that behave in a certain way, so they will want to settle and separate a little. All you need to do is give it a quick stir (little stick included in jar) to mix it up before each use and you're good to go. I wanted to use a natural deodorant after reading Dr. Gundry's book The Plant Paradox (highly recommended). When I first started using it, I thought it was such a pain to stir every time. However, I got used to it and don't think twice about it now - its just part of my routine. My wife is a convert too and is using one of the formulations for women. An added benefit of this product is that I used to have these skin tags under my armpits. After using PurelyGreat Citrus for men for several weeks, I noticed they had all disappeared. I have sensitive skin, but I have never had a reaction of any kind in response to using this product. It seems that many people who have reviewed this product did have a reaction and that's a shame because I love this stuff. Once a day application and it lasts all day! I tried other natural deodorants and they worked very poorly (had to reapply constantly). The only potential negative I have is the advertised 2-3 months of use per jar. In my experience, one jar lasts about 1.5 months for me (or about half the time touted by the manufacturer). Otherwise, I am very grateful for this product - it is superb (and I have tried a bunch of "natural" deodorants).Update: October 2018. My wife and I had to stop using this product because we both developed sensitivity to it. After several months of using it with no problems, we both noticed redness and irritation after using the product. Discontinuation made the redness and irritation go away but it returned once we started using it again. I initially gave this product 5 stars but unfortunately, we somehow got sensitized to it and now neither of us can use it. After doing some online research, it appears that the culprit is sodium bicarbonate (the first ingredient in this product). Others have reported a problem with this ingredient in similar natural deodorant products.
