I learned about this product from Instagram. Initially I wasn't going to try it because I noticed the women who were using it caked it up on their heads so thick. I do not go anywhere without edge control and I very familiar with every brand there is out there. now this one is more on the pricey side n agin ,I prefer to give my money to a black owned company. I gave it a try and this is honestly the best at control that I have come across. It compares two edge controls in its price range except this one is actually natural . I use it on my daughter's hair as well with great and lasting results. If you use edge control on a day to day basis the way I do you are going to incur some sort of a build up of product . If and when this product does build, just add a little bit of water on a tooth brush n smooth your edgeds, then apply a scarf and you are good to go . Well..... Its not. But I will say that its in the top 3. Heck maybe top 2. Its a tie between Dr. Miracles and this one. Only difference between the 2 is that Dr. Miracles doesn't leave a white residue. This one does. Especially if you use it more than once without washing your hair in the same week. You can't used it today and then tomorrow with the white residue/build up. And especially if you have a lot of product in your hair.My picture show you a 3 hour time span of the results. I didn't do anything strenuous during those 3 hours either. I just went to run a couple of errands and came back home.Although the neatness of my edges in the left pic doesn't reflect in the right pic I feel like the mold was still there after a couple of hours. I also went out dancing around 10 and before I left I just put some water on a toothbrush and slicked then back down and I was good to go. After dancing til 2am my edges looked just like the right picture.[I should note that I do live in Georgia.
