I prefer "In Fight Style"They are considerably more expensive but in my opinion much better. **Q: I'm 150 pounds and 5'9" my calfs are 15inches what size should i get?** A: I'm 6'2" 220, my calf's are about 16" 1/2 inches. Now that being said. I had to buy the XL because the calf strap runs small, and I don't think I'm that big of a guy. The package says it will fit but does not. Now for comfort and protection with the right size I love them. I leave with minimal brusing. That is for the shins, now the toe guard it runs very large, I have a size 12 foot and it runs all the may up to my toes nails which cause significant irritations, while moving around on the mat. If I had it to do over again I would try to find some hyabusas or Venums in town and try them and then order them off line. These are just my opinion from using them. I do love my pads and I have gotten use to the toe friction.
