I am one of those to whom mosquitos and no seeums and all things bug are attracted and also one whose body reacts to bites. Life for me can be ugly when they are around as they were when visiting Roatan. My understanding is that the resort where we stayed is known for the no seeums. This product worked really well but I had to wear it liberally and all the time. One time walking back from the spa (having showered to remove the oil before I came back) I got five no seeum bites. No seeums are worse than anything out there. The little bigs literally cannot be seen as they are the size of a speck of dust. They bite but the swelling and itch only really kick in about 12-18 hours after the bite takes place. Then it lasts for about two days. My body reacts strongly and I had two inch welts and the itching can drive you mad. If your body reacts you have to wear something but deet based products are not nice. Cactus Juice works well and smells good. The other good news is that it is really gentle on sensitive skin. I can wear it on my face as a moisturizer, it is so gentle. I've been to Roatan several times and the beauty above and below the water are amazing, so are the sand flies. These tiny bugs are like chiggers or no-see-ums, you don't realize it and next thing you know you've got a dozed red dots that itch like no tomorrow.I've used a bunch of different products and I'd have to say that this is my favorite. It needs to be applied liberally and often, but it smells very nice, isn't loaded with bad stuff, and it works better than others I've tried.
