I selected this unit because of the lower pressure and higher flow which is recommended for wood deck cleaning. The washer works very well - I used the 40 degree nozzle, it did a nice job of removing the cleaner/stripper with little risk of damaging the wood (unless you get within ~4"). There is noticeably less pressure than the 3000 psi pressure washer I am accustomed to renting - the gun does not kick back as much. This is a good thing when pressure washing a deck. Overall I am very happy with this pressure washer - it's nice and compact, great design. Looking forward to using it on my car next. Not too loud, portable, great gpm and PSI for car detailing. The gpm and PSI actually are advertised with numbers that you will actually be using. Alot of these other brands will show gpm and PSI based on using the 0 degree nozzles which you would only use to spot clean concrete. Active will actually give you 2 gpm and 1.1k PSI using a 25 degree nozzle. Only con is that you do have to buy a m22x14 adapter if you want to use most foam cannons out there, not too big of a deal.
