Review: A must for French onion soup !! - I absolutely love these crocks ! The first thing I made was French onion soup . The presentation on the finished soup was as good as you will ever get in any restaurant ! They hold a hefty 15 ounces each so one of them along with a salad is a full meal . They can also be used for chili , spinach artichoke dip etc. etc. They were easy to clean and they look beautiful. They are dishwasher , oven and microwave safe. BUT they do get HOT HOT HOT !!! So please be careful when removing them from the oven or microwave. I bought mine "used" for $22 but they were just an open box return. I saw zero evidence of them ever being used, A steal for 4 of them with lids. I would have gladly paid $39 for the set but the "used set" was available so I jumped on it. Get them ! You will not be disappointed.

This competitor also had makeshift packaging i.e. a poorly constructed cardboard box to hold the four individual boxes with minimal taping on the one big box. I absolutely love these crocks ! The first thing I made was French onion soup . The presentation on the finished soup was as good as you will ever get in any restaurant !
