It appears to be well made and looks as if it will last for a long time. It seems to get softer and more comfortable with each washing. The only thing that kept me from giving it a 5 star is that despite the fact that they state they have sized the robes to accomodate shrinkage from washing, ours still got a bit smaller with the first washing. So if you are at the "upper end" of the size you are considering you might want to step up one size. Also due to the fact that I slightly underestimated the size and the shrinkage, the belt rides too high on my waist to be comfortable. My wife wife was on the lower side of the size she ordered so her's is perfect. I'm a size 8 in jeans (130 pounds) and wasn't sure what size to get, so decided to get a large as I'm a M/L. However, the large was sold out so I bought an XL thinking it will shrink a little in the dryer. It did. I washed in warm water, and dried in medium heat, and it fits awesome!! This is a classy robe. I love the collars and long sleeves. It's warm and cozy. Make sure you buy a size up if you plan to place in the dryer. You can always wash in cold and air dry, but if you go up a size than it's fine to wash in warm and place in the dryer.
