This set is great because it comes with a good selection of necessary face brushes at an affordable price. It also has some brushes that can double as eye brushes. What makes this set a great value is the fact that it has a flat contour brush as part of the set, which usually start at $12, and you get this one as part of a $20 10-piece set.As far as quality, I cannot speak for the longevity and application of these specific brushes, but my own personal BH Cosmetics set (the Party Girl 14-piece set) has lasted me almost 2 years and are still soft, in tact, and do not shed when washed.
