A: Yes, it definitely is from China. The label clearly says so.

**Q: How "fine" is the powder. I would want to sprinkle it on food and am concernded  that it will "cake"?**
A: It is very fine...it would sprinkle like powder...good for sauces etc....you may want the fine granulated....this will cake a little, but, excellent for making tomato sauces or sprinkling on chicken prior to cooking.

**Q: What is the texture like? Very fine powder(like talcum), or somewhat granular(like table salt maybe)? Finer, same, or coarser than table salt? Thanks.**
