I followed instructions exactly the first time I made it and it was OK. The next time I made a fresh vegetable broth base and added celery and small potatoes with more spices and we liked it a lot more then then. White rice was recommended as it is easier to digest, but as we are not sick now I used wild rice. I Will try with brown rice or quinoa next I think.
