I have been using this product for a few years now and I am very happy with it, my son is not itching when wearing clothes washed with it. It works very well for everyday laundry (for example to wash bedsheets, towels, tea towels, socks, underwear, kids clothes with light stains such as dired yogurt, cereals, milk etc..), however it will not remove very tough stains such as grease and tomatoe sauce for example (I usually do a separate load of laundry for it, but 3/4 of my laundry can be washed with it). It is very easy to use, just throw the egg in the laundry and turn the washer on (you can use it to max 60 degrees which is the recommended temperature to kill germs). You cannot use it in the dryer (if you have a combined washer/dryer it needs to be removed before drying). The box will tell you how many washes it is good for, I don't personally keep tabs, I do an average of 4-5 loads a week and use it for up to 4 or 5 months, it's very cost effective. The egg can be opened to be refilled.
