I'm not sure, but some of the housings are already glued, and others you need to put together. I don't know if they break over time or why there's a difference. Nonetheless, the connectors fit nice and tight in the housings. The retention clips are also interesting. I've used qs8 connectors before and like these types because they are a tight fit. I was a little leery about powerpoles at first because they are easier to disconnect. With using these retention clips, it fixes this problem and now I prefer them.
